The Giants of Aruba: A Forgotten Race
Tonight, Tuesday on *FADE to BLACK*: Heather L. Arnold unearths the mysteries of a forgotten race of giants that once inhabited the Caribbean islands.
Heather L. Arnold has spent 17 years uncovering evidence of an ancient race of giants who lived in Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao nearly 7,000 years ago. Her research began when she moved from Manhattan to Aruba to start a tour company, leading her to discover a suppressed history of elongated-skull giants—the very namesake of the islands.
Through extensive fieldwork, interviews, and documentation, she has uncovered burial anomalies, megalithic structures, and bizarre cave pictographs depicting strange creatures. Her research has been featured on television, radio, and in academic publications, even earning a place in the Aruba National Archives.
Now based in Aruba, she continues her investigations while raising her daughter.

Riz founded Play Labs @ MIT, a startup accelerator for gaming and tech, and is a venture partner at Griffin Gaming Partners, one of the largest gaming VC funds. His expertise spans startups, venture capital, video games, blockchain, meditation, consciousness, simulation theory, UFOs/UAPs, and the intersection of science fiction, religion, and philosophy.

Drawing on 17 years of research, she shares striking photographs and delves into how mediums, Vodou practitioners, and even Michael Jackson have sought to access invisible realms in their pursuit of connection beyond the physical world.
Shannon Taggart is a photo-based artist and author based in St. Paul, MN. Her acclaimed book Séance, named one of TIME Magazine’s "Best Photobooks of 2019," has been featured by CNN Style, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and more. Her work has been exhibited internationally and recognized by Nikon, Magnum Photos, and American Photography. Shannon has lectured at venues including the Yale School of Art, Minneapolis Institute of Art, and the Walker Art Center. She curates an annual symposium in Lily Dale, NY, and is currently working on an illustrated book about SORRAT, a landmark case in psychical research. Her Substack project expands on Séance as part of a forthcoming trilogy.
