Tonight, Monday on FADE to BLACK: Les Velez returns to Fade to Black with Jimmy Church to discuss his journey into the UFO phenomenon and the creation of OPUS — the Organization for Paranormal Understanding and Support.
Lester Velez is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. Beginning in September of 1970, he served in the U.S. Army as a field artillery officer and was later vice president of Luscombe Engineering.
He joined MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network, in 1991 and has held the following positions: Field investigator, Training Coordinator for field investigators, the Assistant State Director in Northern California, Chairman of the A.E.R.C. (Abduction Experiencer Research Committee), and team leader of the A.R.T. (Abduction Response Team). Also during that time, he became a facilitator for an abduction support group in San Jose California, and in 1994 co-founded OPUS, the Organization for Paranormal Understanding and Support.

Tonight, Tuesday on FADE to BLACK: Trey Hudson discusses his new film The Meadow Project and mini-documentary Helm and Lens. He shares how the film ties into his books and ongoing research at the enigmatic Meadow, a U.S. hotspot for unexplained phenomena.
Trey Hudson is the Director of the Anomalous Studies and Observation Group (ASOG), which investigates high-strangeness phenomena through a multidisciplinary, experiencer-centered approach. With a background in psychology and anthropology from the University of West Georgia, Trey also served as a U.S. Army Military Intelligence officer and retired in 2023 from the Department of Defense as a Supervisory Security Specialist. A veteran of Afghanistan and a decorated public servant, he holds certifications in emergency response, intelligence analysis, and security. Trey is also the author of The Meadow Project and its follow-up, Return to the Meadow, chronicling ongoing anomalous research in the American South.

John G. Kruth is the Executive Director of the Rhine Research Center ( www.rhine.org ) and the co-Founder and Education Director of the Rhine Education Center ( www.rhineedu.org ). His 20+ years of professional technology experience and 15+ years as a professional researcher provide a unique insight into the integration of technology and parapsychological research. Research includes explorations into subtle energies of the body including psychic healing, the energy behind psychokinesis, poltergeists, unconscious psi effects on electronic devices, and measurements of ultra-weak photon emissions during periods of focus or healing activities.
John has numerous publications and has spoken at professional conferences and other forums regarding scientific parapsychology, the history of the Rhine, the nature of energy healing, poltergeists, and other topics related to parapsychology and the paranormal.
